JOIN US for First Shift Justice Project’s 3rd Annual LUNAFEST on Wednesday, June 19th, co-hosted by Georgetown University Health Justice Alliance!
The event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the 12th Floor of the Gewirz Student Center at Georgetown University Law Center.
LUNAFEST is a nationally touring film festival that features award-winning short films by, for, and about women. Some will touch your heart while others will make you laugh out loud, and all are directed by accomplished women filmmakers presented with the goal of raising awareness of, and funds for, women’s issues.
VIP Reception - The evening starts with a VIP reception with food (heavy hors d’oeuvres), drinks, and fun beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed by films and snacks at 7:30 p.m.
General Admission with movie snacks and films will begin at 7:30pm.
If you wish to attend the VIP reception you must purchase your tickets in advance!
VIP tickets are $50, general admission is $25, and tickets bought at the door on the night of are $30. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 each ($20 for 5).
Proceeds benefit First Shift Justice Project’s legal services and advocacy to assist mothers in low-wage jobs who are working to maintain employment and care for their families.
