Girls on the Run of the Bay Area Presents LUNAFEST - an annual Film Festival spotlighting films by and about women.
Films can be streamed virtually anytime on September 18 & 19! Enjoy a quiet and cozy movie night on the couch or invite friends over for a film screening party.
LUNAFEST is available to all who register. We encourage you to make a suggested donation of $12/viewer.
We are featuring a special LUNAFEST line up curated exclusively for GOTR which includes four films: Knocking Down the Fences, Overexposed, Connection and Betye Saar: Taking Care of Business, plus a special interview with filmmaker Meg Shutzer and pro softball player and Gold Glove winner AJ Andrews from the film Knocking Down the Fences that will run after the films. Total running time for this program is app. 65 minutes.
We recommend viewers are at least 10 years old: films feature strong women, powerful images, and impactful language. Stories reflect the diverse perspectives of the filmmakers and their subjects.
Proceeds will support Girls on the Run of the Bay Area's Fall Programs. Learn more at www.gotrbayarea.org
