Join us online for LUNAFEST, the national film festival that supports films by and about women. Hosted by the Zonta Club of Pontiac N. Oakland, this flexible virtual format gives your 24 hours to enjoy seven short films that compel discussion, make you laugh, tug at your heart strings and motivate you to make a difference in the community.
We begin on Saturday, November 14, at 6 pm EST with an optional virtual welcome. You then have a 24-hour window in which to view the films. If you want, join one of our small group virtual discussions at 11 am, 2 pm, or 6 pm EST on Sunday, November 15, or have your own discussion with family and friends. (Discussion is included in the price but you must register for a time slot and space is limited.)
So get some friends, (socially distanced, of course), pop some popcorn, mix up that signature cocktail, and settle in for 96 minutes of thought-provoking and entertaining films – all while helping women achieve their full potential across the globe.
The Zonta Club of Pontiac N. Oakland Foundation works to empower women worldwide through service and advocacy. Proceeds from this event will support women locally and around the world.
[NOTE: Due to some sensitive material, the event is recommended for ages 13 and up. A streaming link and password will be sent to all attendees the morning of the event date.]
