You’ re Invited to a virtual LUNAFEST® Film Festival!
Hosted by the Girls on the Run Piedmont
What is LUNAFEST®? Four short films by and about women -- plus a special interview with filmmaker Meg Shutzer and pro softball player and Gold Glove winner AJ Andrews from the film Knocking Down the Fences with a total running time of 65 minutes. These films are intriguing, challenging, reflective and at times, humorous and we hope they will inspire you.
How does it work? You will have 48 hours to screen the films beginning at 6:00pm on Friday, September 3 through 6:00 pm Sunday, September 5. You may watch at your leisure, any time of the day. So, grab your popcorn and settle into your favorite chair.
Where do the proceeds go? Proceeds go to Girls on the Run Piedmont (a 501(c)3 organization), that helps teach healthy living and positive self-esteem to girls in the Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Rappahannock, Stafford and Spotsylvania areas. This event will help fund our programs so that we can continue to serve more girls.
How do I sign up? Tickets are $25 for Early Bird Tickets through 7/31/21 and $30 General Admission from 8/1/21 on. Your ticket will give you access to stream the event and will be valid for 48 hours from 5:00 pm EDT on Friday, September 3rd. Once you start watching, you have 24 hours to view the films. You may skip ahead, go back, or watch as many times as you like during that period
You won't want to miss this year’s film, and yes, men are invited too!
