Join the Betty- Ann Heggie Womentorship Foundation and the Edwards School of Business on March 6, 2019 at the Broadway Theatre to support women in film at LUNAFEST. The 18th annual hosting of this international film festival spotlights women, their stories, and their cause through film. The program of eight short films will compel discussion, make you laugh, tug at your heartstrings and motivate you to make a difference.
Doors open at 6:00pm, where you can take in the spectacle with a free popcorn, drink and LUNAbar before proceeding to your seat to watch the screening at 7:00pm. Following the viewing, a panelist discussion moderated by Rachelle Brockman will commence at 8:30pm.
Tickets are $12.50 +GST and can be purchased at lunafest2019.eventbrite.ca. Proceeds from admission will be directed to tuition fees for Proteges from the non-profit sector to attend the Betty-Ann Heggie Womentorship Program at the Edwards School of Business, with a donation also being made to Chicken & Egg Pictures.
