So what is Minnesota Peacebuilding Leadership Institute (i.e. Peacebuilding)?
When terrible things happen like COVID-19 and racism, our peace is stolen from us. Most people want to build peace back into their lives. "Peacebuilding" teaches positive, productive alternatives to revenge to build peace back into our lives and communities. Instigated in 2010, we now have over 5000 Peacebuilding graduates. 80% of our graduates are women, 33% are from communities of color, and the LGBTQ community is well represented. 50% of our trainees apply for scholarship assistance to attend our trainings. LUNAFEST: Minneapolis raises funds for Peacebuilding’s scholarship fund and programs to maximize racial and economic diversity at all our community trainings and events. Attending LUNAFEST inspires and supports our vision of making Minnesota the peacebuilding power state for all! Find out more at www.mnpeace.org.
LUNAFEST indicates that the content of this year’s films are suitable for adults and 14+ teens.
