Our long-running fundraising event, LUNAFEST, is back at the Dove Library for 2023! This fun and thought-provoking afternoon will show 7 short films by women filmmakers, about women. Your ticket includes the films, a reception with tasty treats, a ticket for our opportunity baskets, and a preview of the films by Carlsbad High School Film Academy film instructor Jeff Brandmeyer. LUNAFEST is an annual fundraiser for Soroptimist International Oceanside-Carlsbad. SIOC is part of a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. SIOC annually awards educational grants through the Live Your Dream program to women in Oceanside and Carlsbad, and this is how we raise the money to do that!
