Theresa Moerman Ib

Theresa Moerman Ib is a Scottish-based filmmaker and visual artist. Born in The Netherlands in 1977 to a Dutch father and a Danish mother, she grew up between England, Belgium and Denmark. She holds a BA in English from the University of Southern Denmark and a First Class BA (Hons) in Fine Art Photography from the Glasgow School of Art. Theresa was selected for the Catlin Guide, received the Adam Bruce Thomson Award at the Royal Scottish Academy’s New Contemporaries in 2013, was awarded an Artist Bursary from Creative Scotland and was shortlisted for the Magnum/Photo London Graduate Photographers Award. THE THIRD DAD is her first film, which premiered at the 69th Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2015 and subsequently won a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award and the Best UK Short Award at London's East End Film Festival.
