Jesse Erica Epstein, received an MA in documentary film from New York University. Her documentary Wet Dreams and False Images received a Short Subject Jury Award at The 2004 Sundance Film Festival. The film has also received other awards, screened at over 20 film festivals, and is now being distributed through New Day Films. Jesse is the founder of a youth video program in Manhattan's Lower East Side, and for the past three summers, she was an instructor for REEL STORIES: Sundance’s Youth Documentary Workshop. She also worked as the Youth Program Coordinator for the 2005 Tribeca Film Festival. Jesse recently received grants from the Chicken and Egg Fund, and The Fledgeling Fund to expand Wet Dreams and False Images into a feature-length film. The Guarantee is part of this project, which is executive produced by Judith Helfand (Blue Vinyl, Everything’s Cool).
