Marlon Vasquez graduated with a Visual Arts degree from the National University of Colombia and has made several short independent films and visual artistic projects. Awards include Special Mention at the III Bienal Interamericana de Video Art, Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo Washington, 2006; and Special Mention in Slow Food Film Festival, 2006 Piedmont - Italy. In 2005 Marlon was selected to represent Colombia in the art encounter "Dream Project Public Art for Equality" in Cork, Ireland. Marlon’s "Golfie", won Best Video for II International Sample of Electronical Art, 2004, and "Homeless" was nominated for Best Video at the Medellín Vision festival, 2003.
Carolina Escobar Sanchez is a student of graphic design at Pontificia Bolivariana University in Medellin, Columbia. Her work has been shown at Columbia’s Antioquia Museum, Galery Alianza Francesa and in a special “24 hour a line in the city” exhibition on Carabobo’s street line. Carolina resides in Medellín, Columbia.
Laura Acevedo is currently studying political science at the National University of Columbia in Medellin, Columbia. Laura participated in the VI world-wide social forum in Caracas, Venezuela in 2006. She has a solid background in studying and advancing mass communication, new media and student activism. Laura also resides in Medellín, Columbia.
